2022 Holiday Gift Guides

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! I’m so excited to start sharing my 2022 Holiday Gift Guides with you all… and they’re GOOD this year. I’ve made three gift guides this year: For Her, For Him, and For Toddlers.

As always, I only include items I own and love, or that are at the tippy top of my wish list. I’ve narrowed down each gift guide to about ten items so you’re not too overwhelmed (I don’t know about you, but I don’t need 100 gift ideas for my Great Aunt… just me?!).

So let’s jump into my 2022 Holiday Gift Guide for Her!

Thoughtful Gifts for Her

Note: this post contains affiliate links. Thank you so much for helping to support the Hummusapien household!

Always Pan ($145) – I know this pan is everywhere but it’s for a good reason! You can use it for so many things, and it’s pretty enough to leave out on the stovetop! It’s our daily egg pan and I love that it’s nonstick and non-toxic. And there are 11 colors to choose from!

What Kind of Woman: Poems by Kate Baer ($13) – This stunning book of poetry is a must for any women in your life. Her poems about motherhood, marriage, and friendship are just… *chef’s kiss.*

By the Fireplace Candle ($65) – I kid you now, this candle smells like a cozy burning fireplace without… the fireplace! It’s described as “burning wood and chestnut” and everyone needs this in their home this winter!

Being Here – A Book Of Stories: Jo ($76) – This illustrated coffee book is so lovely and unique. It serves as a much-needed reminder to slow down and enjoy the simple things in life! P.S. The illustrator is a friend from Columbus, OH!

Modal Pajama Joggers and Top ($60) – Truly the comfiest pajamas you will ever own! The polka dot pattern is my fave, but they come in dark brown, light purple and baby blue, too!

Osea Bestsellers Bodycare Set $48) – Osea Skincare has a cult following and I’ve been dying to try their products. This set seems like the perfect introduction to the brand – and whose skin doesn’t need a little extra pampering this time of year?

The ReNew Transit Bag ($45) – I take this fanny pack with me everywhere I go. Not an overstatement. This is *the gift* for your friend who never has enough hands (aka moms everywhere).

Annual Unmeasured Virtual Barre subscription ($199 for the entire year, get 4 months FREE now through 11/27!) I adore these barre classes from my brilliant best friend Simi, all about celebrating your body rather than shaming it. With hundreds of invigorating workout classes, live Zoom classes with epic playlists, meditations, and beyond, this is the gift that keeps on giving <3

Flamingo Estate’s The Picnic Basket ($106) – I love this picnic basket with Rose wine, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Wildflower Honey, Smoked Sea Salt, and Salsa Macha. A friend gifted me this and it was easily the nicest foodie set I’ve ever received. Bonus points for including an invitation for the two of you to have a picnic together once the weather warms up in the Spring!

Danner Adrika Hiker Boots ($170) – These boots could not be more comfortable. And cute! I wear them as my winter boots versus hiking because they’re so adorable. This is the ideal gift for the stylish outdoorsy woman in your life, plus they’re waterproof!

Vuori Daily Joggers ($98) – You all know how obsessed I am with these joggers, which I own in three colors. They’re soft, flattering, and I wear them all the time.

Smart Coffee Warmer ($30) – This is not a glam gift, but I promise it will be one of her most used items! Nothing better than keeping that morning cup of coffee nice and toasty!

Liberty Sling Bag ($78) – If a fanny pack got dressed up, it would be this gorgeous vegan faux leather bag. So stylish, so practical. I keep going back to this!

Sweater top and pant set ($56) – This cozy ribbed set is perfect for dressing up or down. I own the navy color, but the set comes in purple or grey, too!

Without further ado… the 2022 Holiday Gift Guide for Him!

Holiday Gifts He Actually Wants

Better Grounds 3 Bag Coffee Subscription ($60, $5 off your first bag with code Hummusapien5) – This coffee is organic, Fair Trade, responsibly sourced and SO GOOD. The founders are friends from Columbus! This is the gift that keeps on giving well after the holidays have come and gone.

Sequence Board Game ($22) – I’ve never met anyone who doesn’t love Sequence. It’s such a great gift because you can play it with anywhere from 2 to 12 players! Jeff and I love to play board games after Max has gone to sleep when we don’t feel like watching TV.

Bombas Gripper Slippers ($45) – I’m a big fan of Bombas socks, and they’ve really taken it up a notch with these slippers! Cozy and practical = big holiday gift win.

Whiskey Making Kit ($60) – This Whiskey Making Kit looks like so much fun! This is the perfect gift for someone who already “has everything they need.”

Outdoor Voices MegaFleece Snap Up ($138) – Outdoor Voices can do no wrong, and this soft, comfortable sweatshirt is made for wintertime lounging.

The Boys in the Boat ($14) – “For readers of Unbroken, out of the depths of the Depression comes an irresistible story about beating the odds and finding hope in the most desperate of times—the improbable, intimate account of how nine working-class boys from the American West showed the world at the 1936 Olympics in Berlin what true grit really meant.” I LOVED this book and recommend it to everyone. Bonus? George Clooney is directing the upcoming movie based on this book!

Solo Stove Bonfire 2.0 ($240) – I’ve been eyeing this bonfire for our backyard for ages! It has all the magic of a bonfire without the irritating smoke!

Colorado Family Annual State Parks Pass ($120) – I always try to give gifts that lead to activities, and this is an all-star one. Gift a State Parks Pass (for your home state if it’s not Colorado, obvs) that you can use all year long for hikes and adventures!

Vuori Sunday Performance Jogger ($98) – You all know I’m obsessed with Vuori’s joggers, and I know the men in your life will love them just as much! They’re the best for working from home, lounging, and running errands. Jeff is hooked!

Wireless Earbuds ($20) – These super affordable ear buds are compatible with Apple and Android and come in a bunch of fun colors.

Gift Guide for Toddlers (from a mama of an almost 2-year-old!)

Little Sleepies Breakfast Buddies Pajama Set ($34) – These are the softest pajamas ever. The design is genius, too, because it will grow with your kiddos for years. Years!

Mid-Century Modern Play Kitchen ($99) – Of course I had to include a play kitchen in this gift guide. And how cute is this design?

Everyday Play Tent ($109) – This is on my shopping list for Max this year. I can just see him hanging out and playing or reading in this cozy tent.

Lovevery Play Kit ($80-120) – You guys have heard me rave about these Play Kits before, and they would make an amazing gift for any toddler in your life. Max still plays with the ones he got last year! These are the highest quality toys I’ve seen on the market and the ones Max always comes back to. We freak out every time a new one arrives.

The Snowy Day ($7) – This magical book won the 1963 Caldecott Medal, and it holds up. If you don’t have it in your collection already, it is the perfect book to gift!

Wooden Railway Set ($160) – For any of the other train-obsessed toddlers out there, this set guarantees hours of fun playtime.

Patagonia Reversible Hooded Jacket ($109) – I love everything Patagonia touches, and this children’s jacket is no exception! It’s reversible, and the hood zips-off, which is so practical for younger kiddos.

Ride on Motorcycle ($80) – This gift is of the pure “treat your toddler” kind, but I just know Max would lose his little mind over this! My friend’s son just got it and she can’t keep him off it.

Kitchen Helper Tower These towers are the BEST for getting your kids involved in the kitchen. Makes cooking and baking more fun for all involved!

Balance Bike ($89) – We’re getting this sweet ride for Max for his 2nd birthday and I know he’s going to get so much use out of it! He rides this one that he got for his 1st birthday daily, and now he’s ready for the next size. It’s great because they can use it for years.

Happy shopping!
