We’ve seen a rush of incredible new clean beauty launches this season. Perhaps the surge is proof that all the pandemic-related supply chain issues are finally waning. Regardless, we’re happy to see it and always thrilled to see this space grow with better and better offerings. We’ve seen too many things to bring to our pages at once — and not everything deserves highlighting! These are a dozen of the best new clean product launches we’ve tried in the last couple of months. (How about you? Tell us which new products you’re loving in the comments.)
The 12 Best New Clean Beauty Launches This Fall
Ilia Liquid Powder Matte Eye Tint | ILIA released a new matte version of their liquid powder eyeshadow in July and it’s everything we needed it to be. Perhaps more than any other makeup product, having shimmery and matte versions of your favorite eyeshadows can be incredibly useful, keeping daytime and nighttime looks just right. In eight flattering shades that apply almost like concealer and dry to a beautiful powdery finish.
necessaire neck serum | Do you need a body part-specific serum for every part of your body? Not necessarily. However, for your neck? We say yes. Every skincare professional we know invites us to extend our facial routine all the way down to our decollate, but we rarely stick to that good advice! Necessaire’s Neck Serum is the only product we’ve tried that has me hooked on a routine. The formula is light enough to absorb immediately without the kind of tackiness that could make getting dressed annoying.
tower 28 make waves mascara | I adore this brand for their skincare offerings more than anything, so I was surprised to see a mascara from them — and even more surprised to find that it’s such a great product. Tower28’s new mascara is now on my shortlist of great clean mascaras for great length and easy, clump-free application. The ultimate everyday mascara.
kosas Hotliner lipliner | Kosas has quickly become one of the most reliable clean makeup brands for conventional-level performance and color. I say ‘quickly’ knowing our first invite to meet Kosas’ team came in 2017! Their new Hotliner lipliners are comfortable, long-lasting and flattering — the perfect product to layer under one of my other favorite Kosas products, their Wet Lip Oil Gloss.
vapour beauty Astral mascara | Vapour doesn’t always get the credit it deserves as a brand with strict clean values and some of the best blush and foundation sticks around. Their brand new Astral Mascara lives up to our expectations and provides major fullness. Already sold out at Credo Beauty, we’re deeming this product one of the new classics.
phlur apricot privée | Fashion influencer Chriselle Lim recently acquired clean fragrance maker, Phlur and so far we love every scent she’s sent us! Though less subtle and sophisticated than scents like Lost Cause and Missing Person, I find myself returning most often to Apricot Privee. The sexy, fruity fragrance has notes of tonka and sandalwood, but still manages to feel light and fresh. Apricot Privee gives “getting ready for a night out” vibes in a way that’s been nearly impossible to find in clean beauty until recently. If you’re the type that keeps several scents on rotation, Apricot Privee makes a sexy, uplifting addition for your stash.
MAKE beauty Skin Mimetic bronzer | With a focus on Lab Engineered Natural Ingredients or “L.E.N.I”, Make Beauty has been rolling out a ton of clean makeup products lately, and this bronzer is one of their best. In six inclusive tones, the bronzers are made with hyaluronic acid and ceramides to nourish the skin throughout the day. The ‘microsuede’ formula is so creamy it wears almost like a cream bronzer.
Fekkai Brillian hair gloss | Hair god, Fredric Fekkai has entered the clean beauty chat with his new line of Fekkai products and it’s going to be a game-changer. Our top picks from the line so far include this miracle-working Brilliant Gloss Multi-Tasker Perfecting Creme. Applied on towel-dried hair, this Gloss seems to sink right in where needed for smoothing and shine, without any residue. Almost as good as a hair oil without any of the issues that come with it like uneven or heavy application.
lawless Shape up brow pencil and Hold Up Brow wax | Do you layer brow products? Lawless’ new crayon-like brow pencil is highly-pigmented and lasts longer than most pencils we’ve tried. Pair it with their new creamy brow wax and you’ve got a high-impact brow that will last all day. Five shades means you won’t have to compromise on your most natural shade.
GOOPGLOW Microderm Instant Glow Body Polish | A follow up to their best-selling facial exfoliator of the same name, goop’s new body polish will replace your body wash and serve up a full spa treatment every time you shower. As the name suggests, expect a full body polish, plus cleansing that’ll leave you hydrated with a hint of kakadu plum seed oil. A gentle daily exfoliator like this one is one of the easiest ways to keep skin in top form with minimal effort. Dry brush first for the ultimate effect.
karuna foot mask | Just one more ‘hyper-specific’ skincare product. Karuna, known for their sheet masks, just reformulated a few products and these foot mask “booties” were one of them. Unlike some of the more dramatic foot products out there that promise to leave your feet peeling for days, twenty minutes in these sock-like foot masks will leave your feet almost airbrushed-looking immediately. Expect light peeling the following week, but nothing major. I didn’t expect to love this product as much as I did. The deeply hydrated results make this product the perfect thing to keep on hand when you’re ready to break out your heeled sandals or for special events.
