Summer travel season is here! Thomas and I are going on a European (cruise) vacation(!) in June and I can hardly wait. I will be sharing travel recaps here on KERF once we return : ) I’m starting to plan what I’m going to pack. Since we’ll be gone for 12 days (including stops in Hillsborough to drop off / pick up the kids), I’m focusing on packing things that are lightweight, layer-friendly, and a mix and match colors.

With the joy of summer comes the inevitable challenge of dealing with heat and humidity. I am miserable when I get too sticky/sweaty in clothes that aren’t breathable. Balancing comfort with style can be tricky, but with the right clothing items, you can enjoy it without feeling the heat.

Opting for breathable, lightweight, washable fabrics can make a world of difference. Fabrics like cotton, linen, and moisture-wicking synthetics help regulate your body temperature, keeping you cool even on the hottest days. Plus, we all know I love clean laundry, and I have to be able to throw everything in the wash! (I do plan on doing laundry on the cruise ship just like we did on our Disney cruise!)
