Does anyone else struggle to get their kids to eat fresh fruit!? Mazen has turned against most fruits, including berries and stone fruits (crazy!), but they both love tropical flavors.

Mangoes and pineapples are two fruits that both of my boys eat, so a mango pineapple smoothie just made sense! While they eat both fruits fresh, the frozen versions are perfect to have on hand. I often buy them from Trader Joe’s or get a bag of tropical frozen fruits. We also love the tropical flavors that Daily Harvest offers!

Mangoes and pineapples are a match made in heaven, combining their naturally sweet and tangy flavors to create a smoothie that’s both delicious and refreshing.

Today, I’m sharing a mango pineapple smoothie recipe that I know you’ll love. It’s simple, delicious, and the perfect way to enjoy these summer fruits.

Are mango pineapple smoothies healthy?

Yes, they are indeed healthy! Here are some reasons why:

  1. Rich in Vitamins and Minerals: Both mangoes and pineapples are packed with essential vitamins and minerals. Mangoes are a great source of vitamins A and C, which are important for immune function and skin health. Pineapples provide vitamin C and bromelain, an enzyme that aids digestion.
  2. Good Source of Fiber: The fruits in the smoothie contribute to your daily fiber intake, which is important for digestive health. Fiber helps maintain regular bowel movements and can keep you feeling full longer.
  3. Natural Sweetness: Mangoes and pineapples are naturally sweet, so you don’t need to add extra sweetness to your smoothie, like with dates or honey.
